Yoruba Language Teacher (Junior and Senior Secondary)

About the role
-Plan and teach lessons in line with the approved curriculum
-Teach reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy to young pupils
-Mark assignments, record continuous assessment scores, and write termly report cards
-Keep the classroom neat, safe, and well organised
-Supervise pupils during break, assembly, and dismissal
-Meet parents when needed to discuss pupils’ progress and behaviour
Requirements
-B.Ed, or B.A/B.Sc with PGDE
-At least 2 years’ experience teaching in a primary school
-Good knowledge of phonics, numeracy, and the Nigerian curriculum
-Patience and care in handling young children
